Senior Systems Analyst
Location: Dayton, OH
CAMO requires a senior systems analysis to perform mission-level analytical planning, data collection, and reporting as part of the CAMO analytical team. Person will support several projects at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, and from our offices Beavercreek, OH.
Specific tasks: Decompose customer’s questions into analytic objectives, measures of performance/effectiveness, and supporting data elements. Work with operational subject matter experts and software engineers toward developing, testing and executing modeling and simulation projects. Apply analytical techniques to support mission-level analyses, including the performance of military communication networks, susceptibility to threats/IADS, jamming techniques, and other new technologies. Create technical documents such as analytical plans, technical research papers, analytical tables & graphs, and other reporting products. Person must have experience with Microsoft Products (eg. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Database tool expertise desired.
Degree Requirement: Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics, Human Performance, Physics or the equivalent. Work Experience – minimum of 5 plus years in DoD as a contractor, civil servant or military member. Knowledge of military systems is desired. US Citizen capable of holding a US Government-issued security clearance.
Mid-Level Systems Administrator
Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL and Dayton, OH
CAMO has a need for a systems administrator to administer and oversee an enterprise-level network and server infrastructure including design, implementation, configuration, operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting to enhance the Air Force Research Laboratory’s capability.
Specific tasks: Provide technical expertise for infrastructure development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and user collaboration. Administer and oversee the resulting enterprise-level distributed network and infrastructure capability. Develop documentation related to network and infrastructure operations. Research and evaluate new concepts and processes to improve performance. Assist with recommendations for, and analysis and evaluation of systems improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts.
Has demonstrated the ability to work individually, actively participate on integrated teams, or lead a task, project or team. Work Experience – must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise Systems Administration in an Active Directory environment; at least 5 years of experience in a virtualized server infrastructure using VMware ESXi 4-6 and vCenter; knowledge and understanding of ESXi, Linux, VMware, Windows Server Administration, SharePoint, Cisco, iSCSI enterprise, Active Directory, virtual desktop; expert in the use of Microsoft Products (eg. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Visio). Experience supporting the installation, organization, storage, management, administration and retrieval of data for commercial and custom data base management systems; experience administering network and infrastructure capability in support of over 250 users; knowledge and experience in fiber channel and iSCSI enterprise storage arrays; Linux administration experience. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent plus 5-8 relevant experience. Strong knowledge and experience with enterprise hardware and software technologies. US Citizen capable of holding a US Government-issued security clearance.
Senior Information Assurance Engineer
CAMO requires a experienced IA Expert to support development of advanced protection and defense capabilities for bomber and fighter operational development and test. CAMO manages and provides experts with experience in planning, warfighting execution and assessment of mission effectiveness in the IA/IT areas related to warfighting systems. Successful candidates will fall under the Systems Engineering and Technical Support domains; will participate as a team-member / advisor to all other domains as a SME for their specific areas of expertise.
Specific tasks: Provide knowledge of systems engineering in support of system definition, development, integration, verification methods, sustainment, risk modeling/simulation, test and evaluation, human system integration (HSI), crew stations engineering, OSS&E efforts, interoperability requirements, and airworthiness certification across a wide range of hardware and software systems, including ground based systems. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
Has demonstrated technical leadership experience in a relevant engineering discipline. Has demonstrated expertise in all phases of acquisition. Experience with USAF and FAA airworthiness processes and certification requirements. Systems engineering expertise in systems design, integration, quality and industrial engineering. Experience in Supplemental Type Certification. Knowledge of/expertise in Information Assurance. Work experience – must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Computer Engineering preferred) from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program. US Citizen capable of holding a US Government-issued security clearance.
Operations Expert – SME
CAMO Ops Experts provide USAF operational expertise during the development of advanced simulation capabilities for bomber and fighter operational development and test. CAMO Air Force Operations Experts have experience in planning, warfighting execution and assessment of mission effectiveness as principal operators of warfighting systems. Expert knowledge of specific fighter-operations, Command and Control and threat capabilities – REQUIRED. Successful candidates will fall under the Concept Development and Warfighter Assessment domain; will participate as a team-member / advisor to all other domains as a SME for their specific system.
Specific tasks: Provide advice and expertise during concept development and insertion into legacy and advanced mission threads and assessment vignettes; provide transition support for advanced warfighting systems. Work experience – must have a minimum of 8 years as a combat-coded operator (eg. F-18, F-16, F-15, F-22, F-35) and experience in Offensive and Defensive Counter Air, SEAD and CAS. Advanced Fighter (5th Gen) knowledge and experience is a plus. Operational experience must be recent (within the last 5 years) and performed within a currently fielded weapons system. US Citizen capable of holding a US Government-issued security clearance.
