CAMO’s leadership has more than 50 years of hands-on experience in operational employment, acquisition and Test & Evaluation (T&E). CAMO also has extensive experience in the integration of Live systems into Virtual/Constructive (LVC) modeling and simulation environments.
CAMO LLC brings together Operational and Analytical/Test expertise to support customers throughout the complete acquisition lifecycle. Our Subject Matter Experts work together to develop planning and execution products in response to customer assessment or test needs. These products support capability assessment and test planning, data collection, organization and reporting.
Our Experts coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams, develop and document requirements, analyze and operationally assess results, and report-evaluate system contributions based on customer objectives. In addition, we offer expertise in reflecting system requirements in simulation, to include System-of-Systems environment validation. This unique capability is a cost effective approach to assessing capability, while ensuring defendable results for our customers.
- Joint Operational Subject Matter Experts supporting both Training and Acquisition Activities
- Distributed Mission Operations (DMO), Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) Analysts, Event Directors, Network Engineers, Operational Planners
- Test and Analysis Planning, Execution, and Reporting for System and System-of-System (SoS) Evaluation
- Development of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Strategies supporting System Test and Evaluation (T&E) concepts
- Analytical Planning, Execution, and Re-porting for capability assessment activities to enable Agile Program decisions

CAMO is actively supporting T&E activity for the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) performing assessment and testing of sensors, air and ground platforms, systems engineering and human factors analysis. Specific areas include Precision Air Drop (PAD) advanced weather sensing, Unmanned Systems Sense-And-Avoid capabilities, AC-130 Gunship advanced capabilities, advanced battle management and kinetic/non-kinetic defense capabilities. In addition, CAMO is supporting assessment of Future Air Dominance (FAD) systems and integration options, developing AFRL directorate connectivity for the Virtual Interoperable Capabilities Exploration (VICE) Laboratory utilizing the VICE Simulation Operations Network (VISiON).
CAMO is actively assessing future concepts for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and for Program Offices within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC). CAMO Experts develop CONOPS for new or emerging capabilities, develop assessment plans and define simulation requirements, select the correct mix of Virtual and Constructive scenarios and vignettes, execute simulation-based analysis and report operationally useful and valid decision-quality results. These highly customer-relevant activities are in direct support of the SIMulation and Analysis Facility (SIMAF), part of AFLCMC’s Program Development & Integration Directorate (XZ). Our SMEs are active in the development of the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) concept being developed and utilized to enable Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) of complex systems in realistic environments – efficiently capturing test points not easily executed in Live-Open Air venues.
CAMO Test Leaders are currently facilitating the evaluation of F-35 Block 3f at Patuxent River NAS (Customer: F-35 JPO) , advanced sensor target recognition algorithms as part of the Air/Ground Hydra-Vision project (Customer: AFRL/RY), advanced Electronic Warfare capability (AFRL/RY) and advanced wind/weather sensing capabilities from both ground and air platforms to enable better Aerial Delivery (Customer: AFRL/RQ) and weapons accuracy (Customer: AFSOC/SOCOM) to name just a few. Our experts execute per the established test processes and procedures for AFRL, AFLCMC and the variety of responsible test organizations (the “Dets”). We prepare test plans, construct test cards (maneuver-by-maneuver plans), analyze test flight data, and prepare the final flight test report as part of each of these efforts. We provide Mission Essential Support Personnel (MESP) which fly on aircraft during tests and manage/monitor these tests from the designated test center. CAMO is performing these roles for AFRL, AFLCMC and NASA through multiple integrated test activities to answer customer objectives.
